*Warning: This article contains spoilers for the final episode of The Split Up.*
After a jam-packed finale like that, fans will undoubtedly be left thinking about what the future holds for BBC's The Split Up.
Based on Abi Morgan's The Split but created by Ursula Rani Sarma, the new six-part legal drama focuses on an entirely new family and their law firm, personal woes, family troubles and all the rest.
At just six episodes, the series has crammed in a lot – from love affairs to custody battles, divorce settlements to secret family connections and of course, a focus on who will take over Kishan Law.
So, it's natural to start to wonder if there will be more episodes of this series, especially seeing as it's gone down a storm with viewers.

When posed with the question of what she envisions the future looking like for The Split Up, Sarma told Radio Times: "I think ideally, the dream is to have a minimum of three [seasons] like The Split had. It feels like a really wonderful length to really explore a proper journey in these characters' lives.
"So ideally, my dream would be that we would have a minimum of three and then see where the family takes us after that. Who knows?"
She went on: "I mean, Abi [Morgan] did the wonderful special which took the the family to a different location and a different duration, I thought that was wonderful, too. So, I would say, the dreaming phase can be endless and could take us many places. But personally, I would love a chance to really let these characters breathe for a minimum three series. That would be wonderful for me."
So a further two more seasons of The Split Up? Yes please! But as of now, nothing on the renewal front has yet been confirmed so we'll all just have to continue crossing our fingers for more.

As Sarma mentions, Morgan's original series The Split ended up running for three seasons and returned more recently for The Split: Barcelona, which only consisted of two episodes. Nevertheless, it certainly scratched the itch that many fans had for the acclaimed series.
But seeing as things left on quite the cliffhanger for The Split Up, there's no telling in what direction things could go.
In the finale, we saw that Dhruv's real identity was revealed (at least to viewers) which means he's not who he has purported to be. Neal (Danny Ashok) and Aria (Ritu Arya) got married but it was clear that Neal has started to realise that there's more than meets the eye to Aria and Luke's (Dimitri Leonidas) bond.
But with Luke now telling Aria that he's moving back to London, will he actually keep away from Manchester or will the two find themselves in a compromising situation again?
With other fires also burning throughout the Kishan family and the acceptance of Zoya (Shalini Peiris) in the fold, there's certainly ample enough material for future seasons. So, we'll just have to wait and see.
