Catherine Tyldesley has signed on the dotted line for more Coronation Street action.
The actress, who originally played Eva Price between 2011 and 2018, will appear for another year following her comeback to the ITV soap in 2025.
A source told The Sun: "Cath’s return was a big risk for her. She’d built up a great career away from Weatherfield that not everyone who leaves manages to do but being back has just been perfect.
"It means she can spend more time with her family and still do the job she loves."
Although Coronation Street declined to comment when approached by Radio Times, we understand this to be true.

Arriving alongside daughter Susie (Aurora Bradshaw), partner Ben (Aaron McCusker), his two sons and mother from hell Maggie (Pauline McLynn), the family took over the Rovers Return.
Since then, Eva has been at the centre of several major storylines, including staging an intervention with warring sisters Toyah and Leanne Battersby (Georgia Taylor and Jane Danson), and discovering that young Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) was being groomed by his teacher.
Last year, ahead of her return, Tyldesley revealed her thrill upon realising that Eva would be landlady of the Rovers.
"I was in Malta filming and my agent said, 'Kate [Brooks] would like to speak to you about Corrie', and I assumed it was for someone's funeral and they'd want me to rock up," she explained.
"Kate said, 'Would you like to be landlady?' and I screamed. I was really shocked. It's an absolute dream.
"I've been asked before to come back and I always made a point of emailing the producers because it genuinely didn't work in the past because I had other projects. It all came around at the right time, on a personal and professional level, it felt right and I'm so thrilled to be back."
