CoD MW4 brings with it a host of new camo challenges to complete and chase. But this year, the camo chase is very different to the recent Black Ops games, with most of the camos being locked behind weapon levelling and weapon prestiging. However, like recent games, there are unique camos for each weapon that can be earned through special challenges.
Plus, there are, of course, mastery camos for each weapon, on top of mode mastery camos that remaster some classic camos from recent years. These requirements are quite demanding and will require a lot of time investment and even mastery of the mode due to the objectives you need to complete.

- Reach max weapon level - Eight Military Camos per weapon
- - Pyroclast Camo
- Reach Weapon Prestige max level - Pyroclast Terminus Camo
- - Pyroclast Scatter
- - Pyroclast Cascade
- Three unique challenges per weapon in Multiplayer and DMZ - Three Special Camos (different camos for each weapon)
- Get kills in a single match - Gold camo challenge (Multiplayer + DMZ)
- - Platinum Camo (Multiplayer + DMZ)
- - Harmonic Break Camo (Multiplayer + DMZ)
- - Divergence Camo (Multiplayer + DMZ)
- Get 10 kills in a multiplayer match 10 times - Mercurial Drift Camo
- Get 3 kills without taking damage in multiplayer matches 300 times - Polyatomic Reforged Camo
- Get 5 kills without dying in multiplayer matches 500 times - Orion Reforged Camo
- Get 2,500 tier 3+ enemy kills in DMZ - Chiral Camo
- Exfil 2 LT Dog Tags in a single deployment 50 times in DMZ - Ripple Tide Camo
- Get 25,000 kills using legendary weapons on a max-level Operator in DMZ - Helio Camo
