Belfast-born artist  recently launched his new exhibition with Winsor Birch as celebrated on Clash . The 32-year-old painter has always absorbed music into his creative practise – Jack has synaesthesia, which means he experiences sound as colour. As such, his visual art takes on an extra-sensory quality, something that has brought close ties to the music realm.

Back in 2016 Jack created a ‘musical painting’ for Glastonbury Festival, while a recent collaboration with Sir Elton John resulted in his painting Tiny Dancer. His work can also be found in the homes of Paul McCartney, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Freddie Mercury Estate and many more.

Utilising music references as disparate as Amy Winehouse and Radiohead, Olivia Dean and David Bowie, Jack’s work fuses Coulter’s visual style – rooted in Abstract Expressionism yet with its own distinctive and unique qualities – with his passion for music. We cannot wait to display Jack’s work in Shoreditch whilst simultaneously witnessing him create two new pieces in real time inspired by the sounds of our two Clash Live performers.

The UK R&B vocalist moves in an entirely natural manner, making her own decisions at her own pace. The London soul singer-songwriter has pulled in millions of views online singing with Alex Warren, turned heads at the BRITs and her boldest and most artistic music is on the horizon.

After a monumental year within her career Kara continues to build a globally spanning audience. Her mix of soul, R&B and sleek pop, along with her fearless fashion has seen her audience surge over the past twelve months. Achieving new audiences on her TikTok lives and captivating physical audiences with her live performances. Her content has drawn more than 100 million views this year, driven by her vocals, her bold style and moments that keep travelling far beyond her own channels – she is certainly no stranger to virality and culturally notable moments.

Raised in Hackney to a large Guyanese-Jamaican family, Amahla grew up on a smorgasbord of sounds; Motown, ’60s Reggae, and British Soul. But it’s perhaps jazz that has left the most indelible mark on her repertoire.

Amahla emerged with her debut project ‘Consider This’ in 2019, culminating in three sold out headline shows that same year. She’s been the recipient of funding from The MOBO Awards, Help Musicians and the PRS Foundation, and made appearances at The Great Escape, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Wilderness Festival, The Jazz Cafe, and The Royal Albert Hall.

Soaring with her new track ‘Sticky’ – Amahla’s first release of the year, explores the push and pull of a fateful relationship and was created in the wake of discovering her love of Latin dance. Guided by her jazz training and the lissom, lyrical feel of salsa, ‘Sticky’ see’s Amahla tap into a more languid, sensory sound.
