The new song follows the synth-pop trio’s 2023 single “Over”, as well as the 10th anniversary edition of their album The Bones Of What You Believe.

The song is said to welcome a new chapter for Chvrches, as singer Lauren Mayberry explains: "This is the longest break we had ever taken between albums and when we got together to write new music, we wanted to really push ourselves and not be retreading ground we'd walked before. I really think we achieved that. It feels like the most coherent vision we've had as a band. We're excited to be back.”

Chvrches will also be returning to the stage for two special secret shows this autumn, one in their hometown of Glasgow on 26 October, and another in London on 29 October. Fans can enter here for an opportunity to purchase tickets for the exclusive shows, with all proceeds going to charity.
