have confirmed plans for new album ‘All The King’s Men’.

The Glasgow band took a step back in 2023 after touring their , which hit the UK Top 10 – and won critical plaudits – on is release.

Since then, the band – Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook and Martin Doherty – have embarked on different activities, vowing to return to CHVRCHES when the time was right.

Well, the time has come: CHVRCHES are back.

New album ‘All The King’s Men’ will be released on January 22nd, a visceral indie record that takes aim at the darkness infecting the UK and the world.

Martin Doherty spent time travelling back and forth to Scotland visiting his mother, and fell down a wormhole dominated by British cinematic auteurs like Shane Meadows and Ken Loach, and iconoclastic artists such as Massive Attack, Souxsie & The Banshees, and PJ Harvey.

With CHVRCHES amplifying up in every department, the band will preview new material next week with two very special intimate shows, in their hometown of Glasgow on October 26th and in London on October 29th, with proceeds going to charity.
