Peaches has shared a new reworking of ‘Fuck The Pain Away’ for upcoming video game – check it out below.
The new take on her signature 2000 track was made in collaboration with Saber Interactive music director Steve Molitz and features a spoken-word contribution from Doug Bradley, reprising his iconic role as Pinhead.
It arrives ahead of ‘s release next week and takes ‘Fuck The Pain Away’ into heavier, more ominous territory to match the horror game’s world of Cenobites, sadism and pleasure.
“With this rework of the track, it frames my song in a darker, more twisted world,” Peaches said. “‘Fuck The Pain Away’ is ever-expanding and now has new meaning in the Hellraiser universe. I’m in!”
Molitz added: “I’ve always admired Peaches for her fiercely unapologetic, provocative approach to personal expression. It was an honor to collaborate with Peaches and rework this iconic track, and we’re thrilled to finally unleash this beast on the world!”
An accompanying, NSFW music video has also been released, combining Peaches with imagery inspired by the violent and sexually charged universe.

The original ‘Fuck The Pain Away’ appeared on Peaches’ breakthrough 2000 album ‘The Teaches Of Peaches’ and has since become her best-known song.
Peaches has remained fond of the song despite performing it for more than 25 years. In January, when asked what song she would like played at her funeral, she initially picked Prince‘s ‘Purple Rain’ before acknowledging the inevitable alternative.
“I guess people will want to play ‘Fuck The Pain Away’ as well, which I wouldn’t be mad about at all,” she said. “I still love that song.”
In 2024, Peaches joined Garbage in Berlin for a mash-up of ‘Fuck The Pain Away’ and ‘Push It’, with Shirley Manson describing her as someone who had spent her career “ripping up all the rules”.
, meanwhile, is a new first-person survival horror game developed by Saber Interactive in collaboration with creator Clive Barker. It is released on October 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
In February, Peaches released ‘No Lube So Rude’, her first album in over a decade, which later made the shortlist for the 2026 Polaris Music Prize.
In ‘s review of the record, Gary Ryan described it as Peaches’ “slickest work yet”, praising the electroclash veteran for continuing to challenge attitudes towards sex, ageing and queer rights more than two decades into her career.
