Originally hailing from Virginia but now based in NYC, Chainheld is a key producer within the Surf Gang orbit; he’s contributed to works by , , lifelong friend , and other members of the Surf Gang extended universe, 

The 8-track ‘indifferent’ sets up Chainheld as a solo artist in his own right. Fully instrumental, the project is produced, mixed, and mastered by Chainheld himself, with digicentric and atmospheric world-building akin to earlier Surf Gang producer projects such as ‘Giane 2’ or ‘Taking a Walk & Calling a Car Home’.

The project reflects Chainheld’s skateboarding roots and moves between light, bright, skittering notes and quietly desolate moodscapes.
