Ahead of the highly anticipated 40th anniversary episode of Casualty, it has now been confirmed exactly when the new batch of installments will air on BBC One.
It was previously confirmed that the episodes would be on Saturday 5 September, but we now know that they will air back to back at 8pm and 8:50pm on BBC One.
The episodes will see a major explosion occur at St James’ Hospital, which throws Holby into chaos. As paramedics search through the rubble, those back at Holby City Hospital must hold everything together in a large-scale rescue operation.
We already know that William Beck's Dylan will battle personal tragedy while leading his team through their darkest hour, as Elinor Lawless's Stevie and Olly Rix's Flynn find themselves fighting for survival in a race against time.

Also starring in the episodes will be Melanie Hill, Barney Walsh, Neet Mohan, Charles Venn, Sammy Dobson, Kirsty Mitchell, Di Botcher, Anna Chell, Sarah Seggari, Michael Stevenson, Milo Clarke, Naomi Wakszlak and Aron Julus.
The 40th anniversary is set to signal an "exciting new chapter", with the BBC soap making major changes next year.
As part of a new deal which was signed for BBC Studios to make three more seasons of the show, the story will be moved away from Holby City, and towards a new Welsh hospital.

This was part of the BBC's requirements for those making bids when it put the show out to tender.
The tender document said: "This is not about radical change of the show, although the move to Welsh portrayal will mean a new fictional hospital based in Wales, and tenderers will need to address this core change in their editorial pitch to the evaluation panel.
"The successful tenderer will need to be able to demonstrate how to incorporate Welsh portrayal and maintain familiarity at the same time."
Casualty returns on Saturday 5 September on BBC One at 8pm.
