Telepathy, as Carlita describes it, is "thinking about somebody or something with no attempt at possessing that thing, only for it to come into your life anyway." In line with this explanation, follows unspoken communication, the invisible thread that connects a person with their past, between friends, lovers, and the world around them.

The album is described as "feminine", with the tracks leaning into a dance-pop sound and expanded on with additional features from Justine Skye, Malive, and Cleo Simone. The world of was developed with creative director Pedro Damasceno to match the visuals to Carlita's creative concept, which has taken her to worldwide stages with appearances at Coachella, Sónar, Outside Lands, Tomorrowland and Circoloco.
