Defending champions Manchester City and the rest of the Premier League big dogs enter the Carabao Cup at the third round stage.
This year, the third round is split across a fortnight due to the Champions League. Chelsea v Leeds United is the biggest of the six ties next week, which also includes Millwall v Newcastle and Crystal Palace v Middlesbrough.
Man City's defence begins against Norwich City the week after, with Ipswich Town v Arsenal, Liverpool v Tottenham and Man Utd v Brighton among the other eye-catching clashes.
It may be the lesser of the big three domestic trophies but after a summer of change in the Premier League, you feel plenty of clubs will be dreaming of a day out at Wembley this term.
