Born from a place of yearning, the Indianapolis-born singer traces his own artistic avenue via his latest release. Taking after early 2000s R&B, the track feels deeply personal retelling horn in BRYANT’s cosy home studio. That intimacy bleeds into the single, built from an AKAI MPK keyboard, a drum pack and rich, soulful samples.

With ‘IMPATIENT ‘, the artist opens up a new chapter and offers a prelude to forthcoming EP ’THE LOVE PACT ’, due to land this later year.

Over the project’s’s lifetime, BRYANT devised the term ‘psychological R&B’, a vessel through which he now digs deep and turns his lyrics inwards. What transpires is moving and potent, an opportunity to carve a fresh path for BRYANT’s creative expression.

Speaking on the track, BRYANT shares: “The song came together over a period of 10 hours and a few revisions. The result was a track that embodied the tension of someone trying to love at their wits’ end.”
