It’s been a huge 12 months for the American songwriter, who kicked off 2026 supporting and on a crucial series of live shows.

Recruiting  () and  (, Hurray for the Riff Raff, ) to co-produce and play on her next project, Brennan Wedl set about organising sessions for her new album.

Out now, the self-titled album feels like a transformative moment – her first for the pivotal ANTI- imprint, it’s a rich fusion of Americana and indie rock.

Lyrically, Brennan’s incisive pen has never been sharper, the diaristic feel and emotional over-sharing – the final song is called ‘When The Crazy Comes Out’ for example – truly immersing you in her world.

Instrumentalists ,  () and  contribute, with the live band feel enhanced by a quick fire 10-day stint at Brad Cook’s studio in Durham, NC.
