has revealed plans for new album ‘N.Y. Baby’.

The bass virtuoso is revelling in her self-declared “boogie sleaze” era, recently playing an electronic-infused set at The Jazz Cafe in London.

New album ‘N.Y. Baby’ is , and it features a slew of guests, including production from  and , key contributions from her brother and drummer , among additional star-studded guest appearances.

The release is an ode to the city’s peculiar energies, and the way they can inhabit and propel you. The title track is out now, with Blu’s bass spasms aligned to glitzy disco aspects from , guest production from , and – perhaps most notably of all – a guest appearance from legend .

“Being a New Yorker is such a huge part of who I am, and ‘N.Y. Baby’ is me fully embracing that,” shares . “I’m restless, independent, curious, I love movement, meeting people, and not knowing exactly where a night is going to end. There’s something about this city that always tempts you to keep going, to stay out a little later, meet one more person, hear one more song. I wanted the song to capture that feeling of letting go of control and surrendering to wherever the night takes you.”
