follows Blackhaine's 2022 EP , and standalone single "Cold Summer, Pt. 1" made in collaboration with Aho Ssan, released just one year later. New single "Consumer" lands today as the first preview of the album, alongside a video directed by Elena Isolini, with Blackhaine featured as Creative Director. Ahead of its release, Blackhaine will premiere the album live this weekend at his headline appearance at Warsaw's Unsound Festival on 4 October.
features twelve songs that introduce Blackhaine's noise rap sound. The collection of songs came together with the help of executive producer Wraith9 (EsDeeKid, Fakemink), and features a cast of collaborators from the North West, including Rainy Miller, Croww, and Space Afrika, with additional contributions from Ship Sket, Vanessa Bedoret and Gabe Evans.
The album expands Blackhaine's creative world, which has already seen him embedded in the live circuit and within visual art direction. He has worked with the likes of Playboi Carti, and presented at institutions including the Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou, Sonar, Manchester International Festival and the Venice Biennale.
