The accompanying music video, directed by NIYADRE, take inspiration from The Princess of West 72nd Street, Elaine Kraf's 1979 novel about female liberation and mental health. The Australian rapper Tkay Maidza features on the track, the latest in a string of collab singles Maidza has released over the past few months.

BAIN. said of the song: "It was important to me that a song like this exist on my tape and my discography because I wanted to let feelings that I often hide and manage alone roam free in hopes they'd become less scary to me because they've been captured in a song, like a moth in a jar."

, the title, has been a throughline of BINA.'s work, with its origins traceable to "Dopamine" from her EP . BINA. debuted before that, in 2019, with the EP . She has toured with Little Simz, Hope Tala, and Yazmin Lacey.
