East London club-pop pranksters have shared their debut EP.

The production duo – Hijac and s.g.cackle – merge club tropes with future pop aspects, using their subversive sense of humour as glue.

Singles such as ‘Headbanger’ and the gnarly ‘Troubleshooter’ paved the way, with Big Softy’s anarchic sonic appeal bouncing between PC Music and glistening, metallic techno.

’Soft Tissue’ is out now in full, a daring EP that points to a project which feels self-contained, neatly divorced from the world at large.

Manchester and London shows follow this month, and there’s a lot more in the pipeline.
