Big Red unveil new track, “Lost (And Found)”

"Lost (And Found)" follows previous singles “Isn’t He Funny” and “Mission St.” as the newest taster of a collection of songs that track distance and longing, with Scarisbrick carefully tracing through memories while disentangling heartbreak.

Speaking about the track, Scarisbrick says: “This song was never meant to make it onto the record. I had the first half, but knew it wasn’t complete. I was flying back from SFO, very sad and confused, and I started writing what became a beat-style list-form poem. It was all over in a matter of minutes and the woman next to me asked if I was ok. When I got home, jet lagged as fuck, I just started droning on an open E and I remember playing it out for the first time lay in bed guitar on my chest and fell asleep. Woke up 9 hours later and recorded the first demo. We left for the studio that same day and recorded it. At the end of the song you can hear me and Charlie crying.”
