Jamie Miller has become the first Welsh artist to top the UK singles chart in 15 years with his viral TikTok hit, Babydoll.
Miller, who is originally from Pontprennau in Cardiff, narrowly beat Tate McRae and her single Housewife to claim the top spot on the UK Number 1 on Friday, according to the Official Charts Company.
The achievement means Miller is the first Welsh artist since 2011 to earn a UK Number 1 single - after Sian Evans' feature on DJ Fresh's Louder.
Miller, 29, told Charts: "I don't even know what to say other than thank you so much for getting me Number 1, this is the biggest thing that's ever happened to me in my life, I love you guys."
He is also the first solo male Welsh artist in 41 years to top the singles chart, after Shakin' Stevens' 1985 timeless festive hit, Merry Christmas Everyone.
Babydoll was released on 7 August - months after Miller considered quitting music - and exploded after actress Jennifer Love Hewitt posted videos which featured the track.
It sparked a TikTok dance trend and hit number one on the US iTunes pop chart, and earned Miller his first appearance on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Babydoll narrowly missed out on the top spot last week.

Miller, who previously told BBC Wales his dad is an Uber driver in Cardiff, launched his career nearly a decade ago as a 19-year-old, after coming third on the sixth season of The Voice UK.
Miller has also recorded a separate version of Babydoll with Off Campus star Antonio Cipriano, after initially joking about the idea on social media.
Cipriano told BBC Wales last week that Miller was "one of the best vocalists I've ever heard", adding he had been a fan of Miller's voice "for years".
Miller previously said his love for music began accidentally, after becoming "hooked" on singing following an audition for a primary school show.
He said he was "proud" of his new music and was excited to share his latest album with the world and to tour it – in particular, he said, to bring it to Wales.

The singles chart top five was completed by Olivia Rodrigo's remixed version of Expectations with Chappell Roan and Ashe's Stop The Wedding at number four.
Meanwhile, the albums chart saw Irish band Fontaines DC score their second number one album with Dopamine Chamber.
The record marked the third biggest opening week for an album in 2026, and is also the fastest-selling Irish studio LP in 15 years since Snow Patrol's 2011 Fallen Empires.
