has shared her debut LP, ‘Where It All Goes’.
Hailing from Southern California, the singer-songwriter turns her focus inwards, carving out a fresh path through indie-folk. Over rich, heart-warming acoustics, the artist pieces together her inner musings – a story rooted in self-exploration, generational trauma, healing and womanhood, a sincere, diary entry-style body of work that connects with its listener on a personal level.
Following her through her twenties, Aly Rowell’s pen continues to provide a space for reflection, inspired by the likes of Father John Misty, Folk Bitch Trio and Haley Heynderickx. Through tight-knit studio sessions, the artist echoes a childhood spent between library sessions and her guitar, but equally presents herself as a collaborative force, teaming up with the likes of Jon Patrick Titterington of Father John Misty, Joe Vann of From Indian Lakes, Bloomsday, yeemz, Tyson Motsenbocker, and The Blasting Company along the way.
‘Where It All Goes’ takes a definitive step in Aly Rowell’s solo trajectory and points towards a breadth of fresh opportunities that lie just around the corner.
