"I Am God" follows "Zeppelin" released back in September, Petra's first new music since her 2025 single, "The Lamb". Arriving ahead of her appearance at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris this Friday (6 November), the track sees Petra delve into her own perspectives on faith.

“I am disgustingly convinced I am something more than a human," Petra says. "Here behind these closed doors I am God. Until this manic leaves and I’m just a girl wasting her life away by always being miserable.”
