Alessi Rose Digs Deep On New Single ‘Fun’

has shared her new single ‘Fun’.

Out now, it’s part of her broader ‘Voyeur (Deluxe)’ EP release, with Alessi deciding to air her feelings on main.

‘Fun’ deals with the demise of a relationship, explicitly stating some of her frustrations and regrets. There’s a dose of reflection and insecurity in here, with the song also spotlighting her maturity.

Able to step outside herself for some introspection, ‘Fun’ was built alongside frequent collaborator  (Arlo Parks, Olivia Dean), with the lyric asking: “When did I stop being fun to you?”

Alessi comments…

“‘Fun’ is about the anger and frustration and regret that comes from letting someone know you intimately and intensely, only to become strangers again when it goes bad. it’s the way in which your own view of yourself becomes distorted when all of your flaws and misgivings that you displayed to that person unabashedly then become the very thing that drives them away.”

Tune in now.
