Noah Jupe has very much grown up on the big screen – and the franchise with which the young star first really made his name was A Quiet Place.
Jupe played Marcus Abbott – the son of the characters played by Emily Blunt and John Krasinski – in the first two instalments in 2018 and 2021 respectively, and now he's returning one more time for the third film.
The movie – which will be released next summer – has just finished filming, and so when Radio Times spoke to Jupe about his role in new drama & Sons, we couldn't help but ask if he could tease anything about what to expect.
"I mean, this is the third. This is the trilogy. This is the one," Jupe responded, suggesting that this will definitely be the final entry in the main narrative.
"I think it pretty well bookends the series," he added. "It's big and it's bold!"

Jupe also spoke about the "surreal" nature of returning to work on the film almost a decade after he shot the first movie at the age of just 12, now as a young man with several major acting credits to his name.
"What was crazy is I didn't realise how many crew were going to be the same," he explained. "And that's really what's mad is that a lot of them sort of look the same that they did nine or 10 years ago because they're in their 30s or 40s, so you don't really change that much.
"But for them to sort of see me and Millie [Simmonds] so many years later and just seeing them again – you've spent probably a total of a year with these people when you're a kid, and being older now it's quite emotional and quite trippy!"
"But it was good to be back. I love that crew. They're a great group of people."
While plot details about the third instalment are being kept under wraps for now, we know that Jupe, Blunt and Simmonds will return alongside Cillian Murphy – whose character Emmett was introduced in Part II.
Meanwhile, Jack O'Connell, Katy O'Brian and Jason Clarke will all join the cast and there is intriguingly also a role for Alex Wolff, who played Reuben in spin-off A Quiet Place: Day One but has not yet appeared in the main series.
Jupe – who has also appeared extensively on the small screen on shows including The Undoing and The Night Manager – also revealed how he hopes to star in another project alongside his real brother Jacobi Jupe, after the pair both had key roles in the critically acclaimed film Hamnet last year.
"We actually got sent a few projects off the off the back of [Hamnet], but we're really waiting for the right one to do together," he said.
"I think if we are gonna do one together, it it needs to be the best for both of us. But I think we could definitely do something really special together, and that's definitely something I'm looking for down the line.
"But I don't want to force it. You don't want to feel like, 'Oh, he's just in that film because of his brother'. We want both of us to be deserving of two parts that have a lot to do with each other in the film."
A Quiet Place is currently slated for release on Friday 30 July 2027.
