In the fallout of Emmerdale’s chaotic wedding week, which will see the death of at least one villager while Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) attempts to flee with ex-hubby Billy (Jay Kontzle), tough cookie copper DS Thea Ramsden (Chelsea Edge) is searching for answers.
During tense scenes in the police interview room, she relishes in the heartache that’s being imposed on one resident.
Elsewhere, there's a huge arrival that will undoubtedly cause a stir, while Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) decides she wants to come clean about Dr Caitlin Todd's (Caroline Harker) death.
Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) is troubled, and Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) decides to postpone his proposal to Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches).

1. A flashback reveals DS Ramsden's identity
Serena Sugden (Casey Al-Shaqsy) is left completely taken aback when DS Ramsden quietly reveals the plan she has been working on. There is an unsettling atmosphere in the police interview room, where Ramsden appears to take a disturbing satisfaction from the emotional pain she is causing one of the villagers.
Ramsden is quite the enigma, having previously implored her best pal Serena Sugden to raid Home Farm, searching for dirt on lady of the manor Kim Tate (Claire King).
Could she be the previously announced new arrival to the notorious clan? Or perhaps she’s working on their behalf? Regardless of the outcome, a telling flashback will reveal that there’s more to discover in this story than first assumed.
2. There's an arrival in the village...
A new arrival in the village is set to cause an immediate stir, with accusations soon being made that may have potentially devastating consequences for those caught up in the fallout of wedding week.
Could this be Sadie King (Patsy Kensit), who we already know to be returning after 20 years?
3. Charity Dingle and Sarah Sugden face further setbacks amid the investigation into Dr Caitlin Todd's death
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Sarah remain determined to keep their story about the circumstances surrounding Todd's death intact. But as the pressure mounts, maintaining their carefully constructed lie becomes increasingly difficult.
When Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) speaks to Sarah about the devastating anguish Todd's death must be causing Charity, he has no idea just how close to the truth he has come. As we know, Sarah is the real killer, and his words strike a painful chord as she struggles to conceal her guilt.
With the day of Todd's funeral approaching, Sarah finds herself increasingly tormented by what she has done. Grandmother Charity, meanwhile, tries to bring some happiness back into the family by organising a meal, hoping everyone can put their troubles aside for a while.
However, any chance of a peaceful gathering is destroyed when DS Ramsden arrives unexpectedly. She has questions about inconsistencies in Charity's statement concerning Todd, leaving her with little choice but to face further scrutiny.
After Thea accompanies her to the police station, a stunned silence settles over the dinner table. With Charity gone, Sarah is left to wrestle with her guilt, while the pressure of keeping the secret threatens to become unbearable.
At the station, Charity's situation becomes even more precarious when forensic evidence begins to undermine her account of events. Her claim that she was fighting Todd off is called into question, leaving her increasingly anxious about what the police might discover.
Serena is then alarmed when Sarah reveals that she wants to tell the police everything. With Sarah clearly struggling to cope with the guilt, Serena fears that an emotional confession could have disastrous consequences - and could ultimately result in both women being arrested.
4. Vinny Dingle regrets confiding in Kev Barton
Vinny admits to Kev Barton (Chris Coghill) that he has decided to postpone his plans to propose to Lewis. But his worries soon take over when he starts to suspect that Kev may have overheard his private conversation with Gabby.
Terrified that his secret could now be exposed, Vinny is relieved when Kev promises to keep quiet. Feeling that he can finally trust him, he decides to open up about what has been going on.
Unfortunately, Kev's angry reaction is not what he was expecting. Instead of offering the reassurance he hoped for, Kev leaves Vinny questioning whether confiding in him was a huge mistake.
5. Gabby Thomas is troubled
Gabby is clearly struggling with something, and it is becoming increasingly difficult for her to hide the fact that something is troubling her.
