"Stupid Boy" is described as an "embrace of freedom", and arrives alongside a music video directed by Cuan Roche. The track follows a busy touring period for the band that followed the EPs release, which included sold-out headline shows in cities including London, Berlin, Glasgow, Cologne and Rotterdam, as well as festival appearances including The Great Escape, Latitude, Reeperbahn Festival, and C2C Festival.

Speaking about the track, the band say: “This summer we’ve had a wild time in Europe and the UK playing at festivals and touring our EP. The song became a space to experiment with lots of facets of our performance - singing all together, getting into the crowd, dancing and shouting: things we’d never done before but that the song demanded. It’s cathartic, and sharing that feeling with an audience and seeing it resonate has been magical. It’s one of our wildest, angriest, most cathartic experiments so far, and we are proud of its volatile constitution - it could explode at any moment.”
